Our Story
KidsEvent Magic was born from a simple observation made by founder Rebecca Hammond during her daughter's fifth birthday party in 2014. While planning the celebration, she noticed a significant gap in the market for professional, creative, and truly engaging children's entertainment services in Adelaide that prioritized both quality and genuine joy.
What started as a small operation organizing birthday parties for friends and family quickly grew into a passionate enterprise. Rebecca assembled a team of talented performers, creative coordinators, and child development specialists who shared her vision of transforming ordinary celebrations into extraordinary experiences. The first year saw just 15 events, but word-of-mouth recommendations spread rapidly throughout Adelaide's parent community.
By 2016, KidsEvent Magic had established itself as Adelaide's premier children's event company, expanding services to include themed parties, interactive workshops, and large-scale community events. The team grew from three to fifteen dedicated professionals, each bringing unique talents in entertainment, coordination, and child engagement. We moved into our Rundle Mall headquarters in 2018, creating a creative hub where innovation meets execution.
Today, having organized over 850 successful events, we continue to innovate while staying true to our founding principle: every child deserves a celebration that makes them feel special, valued, and truly celebrated.
